Visiting Faculty Position - Chemistry
The Chemistry Department at Davidson College invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting position beginning August 15, 2018.  Consistently ranked among the nation's top liberal arts colleges, Davidson College is located in Davidson, NC, close to Charlotte. Duties will depend on the experience and area of expertise of the candidate, but will primarily include teaching laboratory courses in general chemistry.

Business Application Analyst
As a member of the Division of College Relations, which is the fundraising and advancement arm of Davidson College, the Business Application Analyst is responsible for configuration management of the Blackbaud CRM application as well as developing custom Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports to be deployed within the Blackbaud environment. This position will work with staff across the division and campus and is a key member of the operations team within College Relations.
Assistant Director of Donor Relations
The Office of Donor Relations seeks to strengthen the ties between the college and the community. The office serves those who give their time, money and service to the College, overseeing such activities as gift acknowledgment, reporting, donor recognition and stewardship. The Assistant Director of Donor Relations will work closely with the donor relations team to develop and implement strategic stewardship efforts to foster and maintain meaningful communication and relationships between Davidson and its donors. The assistant director is responsible for the acknowledgment process, individual stewardship efforts and student engagement.

Assistant Director for International Career Development
The Center for Career Development (CCD) has established a new position, Assistant Director for International Career Development. This experienced professional will join the highly dynamic Center for Career Development (CCD) team, committed to providing student-centered career exploration and career management programs and services. Administrative Assistant II needed to perform a wide variety of complex and responsible tasks, while maintaining confidentiality, in record keeping and support of students, parents, faculty, alumni and staff.  Interpret and adhere to FERPA laws and college regulations.  Provide customer service in person, by phone and email.  Possess an interest in and aptitude for learning new processes and technologies. Daily work will include student record maintenance, requests for information, booking classroom spaces, assisting with academic events on campus, curriculum management, and assisting the Registrars with reporting and evaluation of transfer credit.

The Davis Café Cashier is responsible for all tasks related to cash register operation and customer service in a fast paced, busy and excellence focused dining unit. An outgoing personality and friendly, approachable demeanor are strongly desired in our Cashiers. Cashier's must be able to work independently while managing their tasks effectively with little direct supervision. This is a 9 month, 40 hour per week position with work guaranteed only during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May). Some summer jobs are available at the college but must be applied for each year. Summer hiring is subject to departmental approval. This is a benefitted position offering access to Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, paid vacation and sick time accrual, and holiday pay.
Cook I - Lead Prep Cook
Davidson College Dining Services is hiring a Lead Prep Cook to produce menu items for service to students, faculty, and staff members in a busy retail dining facility on campus. This is a 40 hours per week, 9-month position (Academic year: mid-August through mid-May) which is eligible for regular benefit programs. Cook 1
Davidson college is seeking a full time Cook for our Vail Commons dining facility. The Cook I is the principal cook for daily meal preparation and is responsible for the shifts production such as: display cooking, entrées, salads, bakery, grill, garnish, storage of food, pulling product, and preparation. The Cook I position will also assist in production to other areas on campus such as Catering, The Café, and the Wildcat Den based on business needs.
Dining Service Worker
The Dining Service Workers provides general support to the serving line in the main college dining hall. The work includes serving food, making deli sandwiches and pizzas to order, cleaning equipment and serving areas and stocking serving areas.
Administrative Assistant/Assistive Technology Specialist
The Administrative Assistant/Assistive Technology Specialist for the Academic Access and Disabilities Resources Office (AADR) provides direct support to the Director and Assistant Director of AADR and is responsible for a wide variety of complex administrative and office management duties in a fast-paced, collaborative, student-centered department. As an assistive technology specialist, this individual will work directly with students to provide appropriate assistive technology and accessible formats of learning materials. This is a full-time, 10 month position (August through May).
Registered Nurse - Temporary Fill In Only
This is a temporary, fill in as needed basis registered nurse position in our Health Services Office. This position will provide health care and health related advice/education to the student population. To coordinate urgent/emergent care and referrals to specialists.
Annual Giving Fellow
The Annual Giving Fellow works with the annual giving staff to meet the dollar and alumni participation goals of The Fund for Davidson. Specific responsibilities include managing student and alumni volunteers, overseeing student philanthropy strategies and the Student Ambassador program and assisting with special projects.
Assistant Athletic Trainer
An Assistant Athletic Trainer is needed to help oversee the operation of the Athletic Training Department and prevention and treatment of athletic related injuries.
Building Service Worker - 2nd Shift
Full-time Building Service Worker position (2nd Shift) to perform a variety of custodial and general housekeeping duties involving the care and cleaning of college buildings. This position is Sunday, 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm; Tuesday through Thursday 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm.
Safe Rides Driver
Our Safe Rides Driver operates a College vehicle to provide safe transportation of students, faculty, staff and visitors to on/off campus locations as assigned.
