July Experience is a three-week residential pre-college program on the campus of Davidson College for rising high school juniors and seniors during the month of July. This is a full-time leadership and residential position including overnight hours and weekends.

Cook 1
Davidson college is seeking a full time Cook for our Vail Commons dining facility. The Cook I is the principal cook for daily meal preparation and is responsible for the shifts production such as: display cooking, entrées, salads, bakery, grill, garnish, storage of food, pulling product, and preparation. The Cook I position will also assist in production to other areas on campus such as Catering, The Café, and the Wildcat Den based on business needs.
Postdoctoral Fellow
This is a postdoctoral fellowship position supported by a grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. The position was created to facilitate research in the behavioral pharmacology laboratory under the direction of Dr. Mark Smith. The individual in this position will help supervise and conduct all research being conducted by Dr. Smith and will develop his or her own line of research in behavioral pharmacology.
Visiting Assistant Professor Sociology

Visiting Assistant Professor
The Davidson College Biology Department invites applications for a two-year visiting assistant professor position in organismal biology and biostatistics, beginning 01 July 2019. The area of specialization is open and may include physiology, evolution, ecology, behavior, conservation biology, or related fields. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in biology (or related field) by July 2019, ability and interest in teaching biostatistics, and teaching experience in introductory organismal biology.
Systems and Cataloging Librarian
Davidson College seeks a collaborative and enthusiastic Systems and Cataloging Librarian to join our library.  This librarian has the responsibility to support robust library systems and apply expertise in cataloging and metadata standards to facilitate discovery and delivery of the library’s physical and electronic collections to the Davidson community.   This position works on projects to deliver new services in support of library digital endeavors and serves on cross-divisional committees and working groups.

Dining Service Worker
The Dining Service Worker is responsible for all tasks related to cash register operation, cleaning, stocking, and customer service in a fast paced campus dining unit. An outgoing personality and friendly, approachable demeanor are strongly desired in our employees. Dining Service Workers must be able to work independently while managing their tasks effectively with little direct supervision. This is a 9 month, 40 hour per week position with work guaranteed only during the academic year (mid-August through mid-May). Some summer jobs are available at the college but must be applied for each year. Summer hiring is subject to departmental approval. Campus Police Officer
The Campus police officer performs work involving the protection of life and property, the enforcement of laws and ordinances, the maintenance of order, and the investigation of crimes. The officer may perform specialized duties depending upon the individual officer’s background, abilities and needs of the department. The officer applies the community policing philosophy in a fair and impartial manner to all aspects of providing public safety services in a college environment.
Business Intelligence Analyst
As a member of the Division of College Relations, which is the fundraising and advancement arm of Davidson College, the Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for configuration management of the Blackbaud CRM application as well as developing custom Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports to be deployed within the Blackbaud environment. This position will work with staff across the division and campus and is a key member of the operations team within College Relations.
